With regards to SQUID elements, it would appear that I have been mainly writing “Delight” posts, more so than the any of the other categories. Perhaps I just like talking about what I like, but the fact of the matter is that there are currently more posts categorized under “Delight” than any other categories. This might be something that I am delighted about too, even it was unintentional of me to keep rambling about my various delights and kanji.
Thankfully, I don’t exclusively write about my delights but also my despises. There are a few posts where both categories are used as well, however, when I would ramble on about what I liked and disliked about a particular topic. The recurring pattern is that I’m primarily just writing posts about delights and not using any of the other categories, even though I probably should start using them more for more post diversity.
With regards to recurring topics, politics and socialism are both topics that I keep on coming back to throughout my posts. I do indeed find delight in talking about politics and spreading the socialist movement, and I honestly do find them to be the most interesting topics and ones that I have plenty to rant about. Once again, with posts where these topics are used, I typically fall back to the traditional “Delight” and “Despise” SQUID elements simply because it is easy to use these elements when making biased comparisons on topics related to politics. What I like about a certain topic could be its pros while what I don’t like would be its cons. As you can see, I don’t exactly write the most objective comparisons, but I do write ones catered to fellow socialists and progressives.
If there is any topic that I would be able to expand into a 1000 word post, that would probably on education, or more specifically how bad our education system and how we need massive education reforms about how that isn’t going to be happening anytime soon with Betsy DeVos as Secretary of Education, with
Trump Bannon as POTUS, and with a Republican majority in both the House of Reps and the Senate. I would choose to expand upon this post simply because I am very displeased with the current education and need to vent my frustration from the lack of reform and the unwillingness to change the current education system.
